Yep - she completely chewed off the PLUGGED IN power cord. Now I have a perfectly good lamp, and no way to plug it in.

I bet you can go to Home Depot and get a do-it-yourself rewiring kit or find someone there to do it for you for a small fee.
my cat did that to my speaker wire- nice stereo, nice speaker- but no way to play it. I stripped the wires and patched it with electrical tape- works fine now. I couldn't just replace the wire.
I was able to buy a new plug for a couple of bucks at the store and installed it in about a minute. Hope she doesn't chew through it again.
reality check: maybe it's time to ship her narrow ass out the door.

We had that happen to out Christmas tree lights one year! Gotta' love 'em.
Hanna ate an iron when I first adopted her, and I was a regular at Comcast replacing remote controls. I swear to you this will pass!
