I'd like to introduce the newest member of my family to you! The yellow lab I was on the wait list for got claimed by her owners (good for her), so I was looking for another dog today when I came across this one on the web site. She's a labrador mix, possibly part boxer or something like that. She's 10 months to a year old, quite red, about 50 lbs, and sooooo sweet! When they brought her out to meet me, she immediately gave me a little kiss, then rubbed up to be cuddled. When I brought Wally in to be socialized with her, they sniffed each other then promptly ignored each other. Perfect for my condo! I'm now her official owner. She still has to be spayed and I have to get a crate and such for her over the weekend, but she should (theoretically) be ready to be picked up on Tuesday. I can't wait! I don't have a name for her yet. I'm thinking maybe Grace, but is that weird? That was my grandmother's name. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Congratulations!! She's adorable, I love that huge smile on her face!

Did you take Stryder in to meet her, too? ;)

Ruby is an extremely cute name for "red" dogs. You can call them Scooby, Woobee, and RubyCakes also shortened to Cakes. I might be biased, however.

Gracie is a good name, as is Ruby, . . . let me think of some others . . . there was female boxer named Poppy at the vet's this week . . .

That's so awesome that you adopted a sister for Wally. Just looking at her, the name Roxy popped in my head. Be sure to let us all know when you decided on a name.
