On today's whirlwind Los Angeles tour agenda:

Griffith Park Observatory (I hadn't been in about 10 years, since before they re-did it)
The Hollyhock House in Los Feliz (Frank Lloyd Wright design)
Mann's Chinese Theater

Then we had lunch in Burbank (Poquito Mas) and drove back to Pasadena to let the dogs out. We then put the dogs in the car and Grace experienced her first day at Venice Beach. She did a good job considering the sensory overload (it was super crowded down there). She was a little scared, but she handled it like a champ. There were two things that bothered her, though - the constant drone from the drum circle, and the annoying guitar guy on the roller blades - she cowered every time he skated by. I don't blame her - he creeps me out, too. Here are a couple of quick iPhone photos from the day:

The dogs conked out after their day at the beach:

Yes, the two are great friends and get along so well. I'm sure after the long day, you were equally as wiped out.
